Any way to remove WooCommerce without backend access?

WooCommerce was accidentally added, and now it’s breaking the WordPress dashboard, causing the typical critical error.

I’ve tried troubleshooting, and it seems like the only ways to fix this are:

  1. Getting backend access to rename the plugin folder to deactivate it, then remove WooCommerce through the dashboard. Problem is, I’m having a hard time getting backend access from my client.

  2. Reaching out to WordPress support to see if they can help remove the plugin.

So, I’m wondering… is there any other way to remove a plugin without backend access besides these two methods? Any advice would be really appreciated.

The only ways are through the file manager from hosting access, FTP/SFTP, or WordPress backend access.

Yep, that’s it.

You’ll need FTP or SSH access to make any changes; without those, there’s no way to remove the plugin.
