Looking for a booking plugin… any recommendations?

I need help finding a good booking plugin for WordPress. My client owns a cosmetic store, and they want their customers to book appointments directly through the website. Here’s what it needs to do:

  • Send email confirmations to customers.
  • Have a calendar showing all bookings.
  • Be either free or affordable.
  • Allow multiple services to choose from (but no need for different staff options).
  • Payments aren’t necessary since customers will pay at the store.

It also needs to look nice and be user-friendly. Any suggestions?

WooCommerce with the Bookings extension could work perfectly for this. WooCommerce itself is free, but the Bookings plugin costs extra. It’ll handle most of what you described.

You can still set it up to allow manual payment options or just mark them as ‘pay on arrival.’

Yeah, WooCommerce is solid. I’ve used it before, and it’s pretty reliable.

Try Simply Schedule Appointments. They have a free version that might meet your needs. Another one I’ve used is Start Booking, though it’s not free.
