Hey everyone, we’re about to launch an e-commerce business in Slovakia, focusing on personalized nutritional supplements. The idea is that customers take an online test, and our algorithm recommends which supplements they need. They can then buy a custom vitamin pack as a one-time purchase or subscription.
The website is ready, and we’re planning to go live in two weeks, but we’re looking for some good free plugins to help with:
Managing orders and e-commerce (maybe WooCommerce or similar).
Personalization features like quizzes or recommendation systems.
SEO to improve our visibility online.
Security to protect customer data.
Automation to handle custom label printing for each customer’s order. The labels need to reflect the unique combination of supplements each customer orders, and we use a Vevor label printer.
If you’ve worked on similar projects or have experience with plugins for these needs, we’d really appreciate your recommendations. What do you use, and why?
WooCommerce can cover most of what you need. There are plugins for subscriptions, product quizzes, SEO, and security. You might need to spend some time tweaking things, but it’s doable even without advanced coding skills.

Thanks! Could you suggest any specific SEO and security plugins for WooCommerce?
For SEO, I’d recommend The SEO Framework or Yoast. For security, Wordfence and SolidSecurity are solid choices. They’re free or have free versions that work well.
I’d suggest using WooCommerce and its plugins. If you need anything beyond that, a developer could help, but stick to reliable and well-supported tools.
