@Bliss
Thanks for the advice! I was already leaning towards that direction. Appreciate the help!

GeneratePress with Gutenberg is all you need.
I wouldn’t recommend Elementor. Now that Gutenberg blocks exist, Elementor feels unnecessary. If your host includes Jetpack, you probably don’t need Yoast either.
Neither Elementor nor Yoast is a must. You don’t need a page builder, and there are plenty of good SEO plugins aside from Yoast.
Give RankMath a try for SEO. It’s simple to import and offers way more features than Yoast. I’d also recommend Wordfence for security and WP Rocket for speed.
Here’s a list of plugins I use:
- Gravity Forms
- ACF
- RankMath for SEO
- Imagify
- SVG Support
- Autoptimize

Add NameCheap to your domains list. GoDaddy is the worst.
Skip Yoast and go for SEO Framework. It’s lighter and less annoying.
In my opinion, every WordPress site should have:
- Wordfence for security
- RankMath for SEO
- Smush for image optimization
- Gutenberg for page building
- Updraft for backups
