Hey everyone, I’m a WordPress developer looking to create simple plugins that solve real problems. Are there any features or tools you wish existed as a plugin? Maybe something that would save you time or improve your site? Let me know your ideas, they might inspire my next project!
A plugin that adds product names and descriptions to images missing alt text would be super useful.

We’re about to release ImageComply for that exact purpose. Stay tuned!
@Ash
Sounds great! Is it user-friendly for agencies? And what happens if the tool can’t figure out an image, like obscure products?

Yes, agencies can manage multiple accounts with a single token. If the plugin struggles with an image, you’ll get notified to manually adjust it. We’re working on additional features for better recognition.
@Ash
Perfect, let me know when it’s live. I manage about 30 sites, and this sounds really handy. Does it work with Imagify’s optimized images?

It sure does! It’ll scan all images in your library, even ones optimized previously. Keep an eye out for updates!
How about a backup plugin that lets you choose your own storage? Think S3, Wasabi, or FTP. A single interface for agencies would be a dream!

UpdraftPlus supports most storage options, including S3 and FTP. Have you tried it?
@Fallon
UpdraftPlus is great, but it doesn’t encrypt SFTP credentials. Managing unique accounts for multiple sites can be a pain.

WPTimeCapsule might work for you. It has a white-label feature and doesn’t need cron jobs.

Funny, I’m building something just like this now. The SFTP part is already functional!
@Skyler
Cool! How’s the progress so far? I’ve been considering something similar.

Pretty far along. I’m using it for my clients now, and it’s working well for backups and rotation.
I’d love a plugin that flags outdated plugins. Maybe something that checks if they haven’t been updated in over 30 days?

MainWP has a feature like this. You can set a time frame for updates and get alerts.

Wordfence also has a similar feature for scanning inactive plugins.

Why push updates if everything works fine? Some plugins don’t need constant updates to stay functional.
@Tenzin
True, but if it’s not tested with recent versions of WordPress, it might cause compatibility issues.
