Which WordPress plugins have the best design…?

Which WordPress plugins do you think are the easiest and most enjoyable to use? They don’t have to be the most important ones, just those with a great design.

ACF and Better Search Replace are the ones I like.

Yeah, Better Search Replace is pretty awesome.

Honestly, people mix up a good UI with great functionality. They’re not the same.

Plugins with a clean and simple UI I’d suggest:

  • SiteGround Security Plugin (good UI and decent experience)
  • WP Rocket and FlyingPress (both look good from what I remember)

Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE) is great!

It covers many features like SMTP, page/post duplication, header and footer code insertion, and more… You can ditch several plugins for this one.

And yeah, ACF is a solid choice too.

Thanks, everyone! Funny how ACF keeps coming up. That’s actually the one I enjoy the most, and I found all your other suggestions helpful!

I’ve noticed many WordPress plugins stick to the dashboard design standards, which I think works well for user experience.

Here’s a useful link about designing plugin UIs in WordPress:

@Tan
Super helpful, thanks a lot!

WooCommerce checkout field editor by Themehigh:

Minimal design, less clutter, and it does the job well.

@Tan
Wouldn’t recommend Themehigh… Had to remove some of their plugins because of recurring issues.

BePro Listings has a simple setup wizard, a status dashboard, and shortcode support. We rely on it for all directory-based projects.

Gravity Forms is a good one.

I shared some great documentation on plugin UI from the WordPress Codex earlier. It’s really worth checking out if you’re into plugin development:

Best plugin is no plugin, haha.

Can’t argue with its features, but does it really have the best interface?

I use it mostly for theme development, which helps improve the editing experience for others. Apart from that, I find its interface clear, fast, and responsive.

@Chen
Yeah, it’s definitely quick.

Mine.
