Anyone tried this Safe Update for WordPress?

Updating WordPress can sometimes mess things up, right? But with WPSAFEUP, you don’t have to worry. It takes a quick snapshot before each update so if something goes wrong, you can roll back without losing any data or breaking your site. It’s super easy and reliable.

Honestly, I always take backups before working on updates. Plus, most decent hosting services already have automatic backups, so I’m not sure why I’d need this. Also, I don’t really know who’s behind this service. Why should I trust you with my data?

@Sky
Not everyone remembers to take backups before updating. Sometimes, people just hit ‘update’ without thinking about it, and if things go wrong, it’s a nightmare to fix. Plus, even if a plugin breaks your site, like messing up your URLs, you might not notice right away, and it can harm your SEO.

@Wilder
I get that, but I’m still a bit unsure. Your site doesn’t give much info about who’s running it or where you’re based. What if my site has sensitive info, like subscriber data? Different rules apply in different places, like the EU versus the US. Also, aren’t you accessing my files if you’re taking a snapshot?

@Sky
Actually, I don’t get access to your files. The snapshot stays on your server, so only you can access it. If I were storing snapshots, that’d be different, and I’d need to create a company to build trust. But since I’m not touching your files, it’s not necessary.

@Sky
Some hosts only allow backups through their control panel, and sometimes only IT or devs have access to that. Being able to make a backup directly from WordPress itself is helpful in those situations.
