Can you use both front-end and back-end builder with WPBakery?

The agency I work for is choosing between Elementor and WPBakery for site building. I used WPBakery back when it was only a back-end editor, but I see they’ve added a front-end option now.

For anyone familiar with the current version—can you switch smoothly between the front-end and back-end editors while working on a page? Or do you have to pick one when you start building? This would really help us decide!

Yes, you can switch between the front-end, back-end, and classic editor too.

Thanks a lot!

We use WPBakery on client sites, and yes, you can switch between back-end and front-end editors while building. It’s great because we can start in one mode and switch to the other as needed, which really helps with different tasks.

@Jasper
Thanks! This is exactly why we’re considering it—our dev prefers back end, but some on the creative team like front end, so having both options would make it easier for everyone.
